Home, Vehicle Struck By Bullets In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon incident when a house and vehicle on Summer Street were hit by bullets, according to the department's Facebook page. Police responded to a shots fired call at 3:16 p.m. to the call in the area of Summer Street and Cook Avenue.

Witnesses said a blue Toyota RAV 4 and a black Acura MDX fled the scene and that the gunfire was between these two vehicles. No victims were struck in this incident.

Police are asking witnesses and those with surveillance footage of the area to come forward.
