Homeschool Social

Friday, October 2, at 10:30 am in the Griffin Room of the Meriden Public Library.

Meet other homeschoolers. During the How Cool is This? program, Mrs. Jancz-Urban will talk about birds of prey and small prey animal that exist in the environment and will discuss what a food chain might look like. Kids will learn what kinds of life owls look for when hunting for food, and their diet when analyzing the contents of an owl pellet. Participants will be given assistance identifying bones they find in the pellets and, if they have time, they may be able to reassemble their skeleton’s remains.

Program is for homeschoolers only.
