A guest from the Connecticut Chinese Culture Association will share information about the essence and uniqueness of the traditional Chinese culture, how those traditions were interrupted, and how the authentic culture is presently experiencing a ’renaissance’. The program will include a video presentation as well as a short Chinese dance workshop. Audience members will have a hand-on experience of classical Chinese dance tools like long ribbon and fans.
