Earlier today, Meriden’s Public School (MPS) Superintendent, Mark D. Benigni, Ed.D., addressed in a video the news of a Lincoln Middle School student testing positive for COVID-19. This message was sent to MPS families and staff making them aware of the situation and next steps.

The Meriden Health and Human Services Department is actively reaching out to all families whose children are considered a close contact of the positive student, and will provide appropriate guidance.
