Meriden Company Featured as the Future of Connecticut Manufacturing:

Local Company Featured as the Future of Connecticut Manufacturing:

The innovation and success of several state companies, including Protein Sciences Corporation in Meriden, are featured in an original documentary from CPTV called Made in Connecticut, premiering on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. on CPTV, the PBS affiliate of the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network. Protein Sciences, which has created a game-changing flu vaccine, pictured here, that is the first modern flu vaccine in 50 years and takes just weeks to produce to fight epidemics and pandemics worldwide, is one of 12 Connecticut companies highlighted for its ingenuity and success and for helping to put Connecticut on the forefront of a manufacturing revolution. Made in Connecticut is part of a three-year, multi-platform initiative that also includes special programming on CPTV and WNPR/Connecticut Public Radio, CPBN’s NPR affiliate, and online at www.madeinct.cptv.org. Funding for Made in Connecticut on Connecticut Public Broadcasting is made possible by Founding Sponsor, KBE Building Corporation.
