Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Girl: Meriden Police
Police said the man was arrested after a thorough investigation.
MERIDEN, CT — A man is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl multiple times, according to Meriden police.
The Meriden Special Crimes Unit (SCU) began investigating a complaint last March accusing 22-year-old Alejandro Chamorro of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl on more than one occasion, according to Lt. Darrin McKay.
McKay said police obtained an arrest warrant for Chamorro following a thorough investigation.

Chamorro was taken into custody by the South Windsor Police Department on May 11 during a traffic stop, according to McKay.
Chamorro was arrested on three counts of second-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury / impairing the morals of children. He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

It is the policy of the Meriden Police Department to fully investigate every allegation of crimes against children that is brought to our organization.”
