Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child: Meriden Police
The man was arrested on a warrant following an investigation that began in February, according to police.
MERIDEN, CT — A man is accused of sexually assaulting a child in Meriden, according to police.
Robert Williams, 34, was arrested on a warrant Friday following an investigation that began in February, according to police.
Police said a “thorough and detailed investigation” was conducted and supported by “video surveillance, GPS, and DNA evidence.”

Williams, who was incarcerated on unrelated charges, was served with the warrant on June 24, according to police.
Williams was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, one count of third-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury to, or impairing the morals of a child. He was held in lieu of a $1 million bond.
