Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Minor: Meriden Police
The man was recently arrested on a warrant.
MERIDEN, CT — A man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor in Meriden, according to police.
Police received a complaint on Jan. 10 of “intentional exposure to a minor and inappropriate touching of a minor,” according to officials.
The suspect was identified as 61-year-old Thomas Wrinn, according to police.

“Through rigorous investigative efforts, including multiple interviews and search warrants, probable cause was found and an arrest warrant was obtained for Wrinn,” police wrote in a news release.
Wrinn was arrested Sept. 21 at his home, police said.

He was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, and one count of fourth-degree sexual assault.
Wrinn was released after posting a $50,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 6.
“We at the Meriden Police Department are wholeheartedly committed to protecting children,” police wrote in the news release. “We understand the impact of these crimes on the victims and their families. We partner with outside agencies to help provide services to the affected victims and their families. It is the policy of the Meriden Police Department to fully investigate every allegation of crimes against children that are brought to our agency's attention.”
