Man Carjacked At Gunpoint At ATM In Meriden: Police

The armed robbery happened Friday morning at a bank in Meriden, according to police.

MERIDEN, CT — A man was carjacked at gunpoint at an ATM in Meriden on Friday morning, according to police.

Police responded to Bank of America at 400 East Main St. on the report of a robbery. The victim told police he was at the ATM when he was approached by two men.

One of the men brandished a gun and they both entered the victim’s vehicle and left the area, according to police.

The vehicle is described as a tan Toyota Corolla with Connecticut registration number BD96102, police said.

No injuries were reported, according to police.

If located, police are advising people to not approach the vehicle or the suspects, and to contact police.

“This is an active investigation and we appreciate any assistance from the public in this matter,” police wrote in a news release. “The Meriden Police Department understands that a cooperative approach to police investigations are critical to our success.
