Man Charged With Shooting At Restaurant In Meriden: Police
A 29-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being shot in the neck at the restaurant.

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at 105 Restaurant and Lounge on Colony Street in March. The arrest stems from a shooting that occurred inside the restaurant, located at 105 Colony Street in Meriden, on March 18 in which a 29-year-old man was shot in the neck and sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Vincequan H. Wright, 28, of Britannia Street in Meriden, was arrested on a warrant May 1 and charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a pistol and carrying a pistol without a permit. Police said that while Wright was served with the warrant, he was also arrested for onsite charges. He was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm/ammunition, theft of a firearm and possession of body armor by a felon.

He was held on an additional $500,000 bond, according to police.
Police previously said that the shooting at 105 Restaurant and Lounge occurred at about 1:45 a.m. on March 18 and the victim was initially treated at MidState Medical Center but was then transported by LifeStar to an area trauma center.
