Man Charged With Trespassing, Interfering With Police: PD
A man was charged following a report of a burglary last week.
MERIDEN, CT — A man was charged following a burglary Thursday, according to a police Facebook post. Jose Sanchez, 48, was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing and interfering with police.
Police received a report of a burglary in progress at 14 Center St. A police officer engaged in a foot pursuit of a suspect described as wearing a puffy blue jacket.
The suspect jumped a fence in an adjacent yard. Police later caught the suspect, identified as Sanchez, on Liberty Street. Sanchez was found to have an outstanding warrant for violation of probation as well, according to police.

He was taken into custody and his bond was set at $5,000.
