Man Poses As High School Student, Gets Arrested: Meriden Police
The man was arrested after police say he went to his brother's class and pretended to be a new student.

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden man was arrested after police say he pretended to be a student in his 17-year-old brother’s class at Maloney High School, according to multiple reports.
NBC Connecticut reports Vincenzo Pulcinella, 22, walked into Maloney High School last Friday dressed like a student and carrying a backpack and went into his brother’s class.
The teacher became suspicious and asked Pulcinella who he was and he reportedly said a “new student,” according to the Meriden Record-Journal. The teacher called the school resource officer and Pulcinella fled from the school.

Pulcinella was later located at his nearby home and arrested, according to WFSB 3. He was charged with criminal impersonation, loitering on school grounds, disorderly conduct and conspiracy charges. Pulcinella reportedly said he thought it would be a funny prank. His 17-year-old brother was also charged and transferred to a juvenile facility, according to WFSB 3.
