Man Seriously Injured In Meriden Motorcycle Wreck: Report

A Meriden man was seriously injured when he struck a Jeep while doing a wheelie.

MERIDEN, CT — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after crashing into a vehicle while doing a wheelie, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. Police responded to the call at 934 Broad St. shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The motorcyclist, Daivon Amar Rosa, 22, of Meriden, hit the front of a Jeep turning into a gas station. Rosa was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The Jeep's driver was not injured.

Witnesses told police that the motorcycle was one of four on the road that were driving at high speeds and performing stunts, according to The Meriden Record-Journal.
