Video Surveillance Sought In Fatal Shooting: Meriden Police

Police are asking for the public's help with obtaining nearby surveillance video after a man was shot to death Sunday in Meriden.

MERIDEN, CT — Police are asking for the public’s assistance with a homicide investigation in which a man was shot to death Sunday in Meriden. Police are asking anyone with outdoor surveillance cameras that have coverage of the roadway to contact the Major Crime Unit.

Police responded to the 100 block of Allen Avenue at about 11:45 a.m. on the report of a shooting. Arriving officers found a male victim in the front yard of a home. Police said the victim appeared to have several gunshot wounds and died before officers arrived. Police believe it was an isolated incident.
