As every year, Amazing Grace Food Pantry in Middletown suffers a food shortage during the summer months. The food pantry is in desperate need of many items, especially pasta, soup, and tuna. You bring your food items to Amazing Grace any Monday, Wednesday or Friday, between 10 AM-5 PM or on Saturday from 9 AM-1 PM at 16 Stack Street, Middletown. (Call 860-347-3222 if you need to schedule delivery at another time) They can also be dropped off at the entryway of the Middletown St. John Church at 19 St. John Sq. As always, thank you for your support of Amazing Grace!

The Outreach Committee team of Notre Dame Church in Durham the twin parish of St. Coleman  of Middlefield is planning a supper to support on Sunday, August 25th. Our neighbors at SVDP depend on them to provide 2 Sunday evening meals each year. The last dinner was during the winter blizzard and a small number of people could make the healthy hot meal to support those who would have otherwise had none. The committee will be meeting tonight to discuss the format for the dinner. More information on the menu and entertainment will be provided soon, so please mark your calendar!
