Men Charged With Throwing Explosives At PD Parking Lot

Two men were charged after one allegedly threw an explosive into the police department's parking lot.

MERIDEN, CT — Two men were charged after one allegedly threw an explosive into the police department's parking lot, according to The Meriden Record Journal.

Richard Medina, 27, of 19 Union St. in New Britain, was charged with illegal explosives, second-degree criminal trespass, interfering with police, breach of peace, reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy.

Tyler Willey, 26, of 10 Kensington Ave. in Meriden, was charged with interfering with police, breach of peace, second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, The Record-Journal reported.
