Meriden Animal Controls Helps Two Injured Hawks

The hawks were found in two separate places.

Meriden Animal Control Officer Sara Bacon was able to help two injured hawks that were found in the city.

One hawk was found on Hanover Avenue, according to a Facebook post by Meriden Police. It couldn’t fly away and was hobbling around the area. Bacon took it to a rehabilitator in Newington for treatment.

The second hawk was found injured on Undercliff Road. It was transported to Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital.
