Meriden City Councilor Uses Meeting to Show His Support of President-Elect Trump
Republican Councilor Lenny Rich decided to send a loud message to residents and his fellow council members this week.

MERIDEN, CT — Meriden City Councilor Lenny Rich isn't afraid to show his support for President-Elect Donald Trump.
This week, the Republican councilor removed his name plate during a council meeting and replaced it with one that read "Trump Make America Great Again," reports the Meriden Record-Journal. Rich said he did it to send the message that he's happy about Trump's victory.
Not all of Rich's fellow council members were pleased with the gesture, but some acknowledged that he has the right under the First Amendment.
