Meriden Council Approves Shuttle Trial
Mayor Manny Santos said he is considering a veto.

The Meriden City Council approved a three-month trial for downtown shuttle service.
The council voted 9-2 in favor of the measure. Mayor Manny Santos said he would consider a veto, according to the Record-Journal.
The service plan is to run in 12-minute loops near Colony and State streets and is aimed at alleviating parking woes for commuters.
