Meriden Dog Park Locations Considered

Meriden officials are looking at three different locations for a dog park.

Currently options include a 3.5-acre plot on Bailey Avenue, a smaller parcel off Locust Street and two parcels on Paddock avenue, according to the Record-Journal.

The city owns all the plots already. Bailey Avenue is currently the favorite among officials. It is an undeveloped area with only two nearby houses at the end of the street.

The land was used a century ago for statewide fairs and horse racing events.
