Meriden Election 2015 Results: Mayor's Race Less Than 100 Vote Difference
A candidate is claiming victory, but there may be a recount.

Kevin Scarpati is claiming victory in the Meriden mayor’s race after winning by less than 100 votes.
It is possible there could be a recount because the vote was so close, according to the Record-Journal. The results remain unofficial.
Republican Mayor Manny Santos has not conceded the race yet and is waiting to learn if a recount will happen.

Scarpati, 26, would become the city’s youngest mayor in history. He ran as an unaffiliated candidate and was previously a Republican as a town council and board of education member.
