MERIDEN, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in Meriden with plenty of races on the ballot.
Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 7 and cast their ballots for Mayor, City Council, Board of Education and more.

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I’m running because there has been no successful plans by my opponent and his fellow Democrats over the years that have moved Meriden forward economically or socially.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Economic development.
Over the years, numerous actions by our elected officials, have hindered Meriden's ability for growth their lack of basic economics couple with their addiction to state and federal money has only shown what not to do when trying to revitalize a district they have wasted millions of taxpayer money downtown with nothing to show for other than increase crime, and Blight to the area.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I will help stop the out-of-control spending and audit every department and make those findings public.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way do you believe the current officeholder has failed the community?
It is evident that the last 35+ years of one party democratic rule is not capable of addressing the issues facing our community.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Public safety education, tax reform, government, accountability, and transparency.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My parents instilled in me the importance of community service and encourage me to use my voice to help engage and unite those who feel they are not being heard.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Always give back.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am running to be your mayor, together, we can seize the opportunity this November to break this vicious cycle of economic stagnation, and improve quality of life for all residents.
