- “Domonique started a tutor program at Thomas Hooker Elementary School. She is a junior at Maloney High School. It was started in 2013. She has been recognized by the Board of Education for this program. When the program was started she was concerned there would not be enough volunteers. Shortly after it was started there was 30 plus high school students. She became concerned there was now to many. This year it continues to be a success. It has been measured in grades of the tremendous improvements these elementary students have made by all the volunteer work.”
