Meriden Girl Struck, Injured After Colliding With UPS Truck: Report

MERIDEN, CT — A child was hospitalized after she was hit by a UPS truck while skateboarding in Meriden, according to NBC CT. Police said the girl was riding a skateboard when she collided with the UPS truck, which was making a turn.

The accident occurred at Guiel Place and Frary Drive on Tuesday evening.

The child suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
