Meriden Man Arrested For 2019 Shooting
A Meriden man has been arrested following a lengthy investigation.
MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden man has been arrested in connection with an October shooting, police said. Chauncey Ford, 22, of 281 Grove St. 2nd floor, was charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, no pistol permit, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
He was held on $200,000 bond.
Police said Ford's arrest was in connection to a shooting at 27 Randolph Ave. on Oct. 31. A 27-year-old woman was shot in her right calf.

Following a lengthy investigation, police obtained a warrant for Ford's arrest March 6. He was taken into custody Sunday at 8:20 p.m.
