Meriden Man Busted For Drugs, Guns: Police

A city man is being held on $720,000 bond after police found quantities of numerous drugs and guns at his home.

MERIDEN, CT — Police have arrested a city man on numerous drug and weapons charges. Jonathan Rivers, 37, was arrested following a search of his 109 Arch St. home.

He was charged with three counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, criminal possession of a firearm, and other charges.

He was held on $750,000 bond and will appear in court March 11.

Police said they found 620.7 grams of cocaine, 701.3 grams of marijuana, numerous bottles of pills, and six guns, including a Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum Revolver with Scope.
