Meriden Man Charged In Gun, Drug Bust: Police
A city man is facing charges for possessing guns and drugs.
MERIDEN, CT — Police arrested a man Tuesday on a range of drug and gun charges. Thomas Benham, 27, of 23 Jefferson St. 1st floor in Meriden, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon, operating a drug factory, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
His bond was set at $150,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 9.
In a raid of Benham's home, police said they found 24 pounds of Marijuana, approximately 700 bags of edible THC Gummies, THC Wax, THC Extracts, a .32 caliber revolver handgun and a SPAS-12 shotgun with rounds.
