Meriden Man Charged In Drug Factory Case

A city man is facing charges after police found heroin, fentanyl, and marijuana in his home.

MERIDEN, CT — A city man is facing charges after police found heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana in his home. Ovidio Olivio, 52, of 60 Surrey Drive, was charged with operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, risk of injury to a minor, and several drug charges.

Police raided his home at 5 a.m. Friday and found Olivio in the bathroom flushing drugs down the toilet, according to The Record-Journal.

Olivio was held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 24.
