Meriden Man Charged with Producing Child Porn

Law enforcement raided the man's home and found evidence of alleged child pornography.

A Meriden man was federally charged with producing child pornography.

Mark Irvin, 63, was arrested on Sept. 18, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.

A teenage male told law enforcement that Irvin had repeated sexual contact with him since he was 15-years-old and that cameras were in Irvin’s residence recording. The teenager said he observed other minors have sexual contact with Irvin, the attorney’s office said.

Police searched Irvin’s residence on Sept. 8 and seized camcorders, computers, VHS tapes and other data storage media.

At least one device thus far allegedly has sexually explicit photographs of a 13-year-old.

Irvin was charged with production and possession of child pornography.
