Meriden Man Faces Sex Offender Registry Charges: Police

A Meriden man was arrested on accusations he failed to meet Sex Offender Registry requirements.

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden man was recently charged with failing to comply with Sex Offender Registry requirements, according to police. Harold Bell, 46, of 680 Old Colony Road Apt. 12, was charged with failure to register of person who has committed a sexual offense in another jurisdiction.

He was held on $20,000 bond.

Offenders required to register under Connecticut's sex offender registry laws must verify their address every 90 days. They then have 10 days to return an address verification form to the Sex Offender Registry or face arrest for a felony.
