Meriden Man Sexually Assaulted, Trafficked 14-Year-Old Girl, Police Say: Report
The case began unfolding over the summer, according to police.
MERIDEN, CT — A 36-year-old Meriden man stands accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and pimping her out to other men, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
Arrested late last week on warrant on charges of trafficking persons, first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor was Carlen Davis. Over the summer, when the now 15-year-old girl was 14, he allegedly sexually assaulted the her and arranged for her to have sex with other men for money.
Davis is being held on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 3.
