Meriden Moves Closer to Demolishing Mills Housing Complex
A large number of tenants still need to be relocated.

MERIDEN, CT - City officials are moving closer to plans to demolish the Mills Memorial apartment complex and relocate more than 100 tenants.
The Record-Journal reports that the Meriden Housing Authority has received a $2 million grant to go toward tearing down the five-building complex, a process that is estimated to cost about $3 million.
In its place will be a 75-unit residential and commercial complex.
