- When did your business open? August 2015
- How did you come up with the name? It is short and catchy. Wepa means fun, woo hoo!
- Why start a business in this town? I believe in Meriden, and I wanted to offer something different, where people can get together and have a good time while exploring art in their own ways.
- What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced starting a new business? Foot traffic and expensive advertising.
- What’s one highlight you've had since opening? Artistic venue, wine and beer bar.
- How does your business give back to the community? Host a lot of fundraising where Wepa donates 50 percent of the profit to the cause. Sometimes Wepa hosts free events for kids like painting rocks for Halloween this upcoming Oct. 31.
