Meriden Parks and Recreation Director Mark Zebora to Retire
Zebora reportedly has been with the department for 36 years.

MERIDEN, CT — Mark Zebora, director of the Meriden Parks and Recreation and Building Maintenance Department, is retiring on Dec. 16 after 36 years with the city, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
He had a stint in the 1980s when he ran the local YMCA, and considers the rebuilding of Hubbard Park as one of his most proud achievements.
Additionally, he has watched as the city's Daffodil Festival grew from 250 attendees to more than 70,000.
