Meriden Part Of Statewide Brownfield Cleanup
A former hospital property is slated for remediation and abatement.

MERIDEN, CT - The state recently approved $13.6 million to clean up polluted properties in an attempt to spur economic development, according to the Connecticut Post. One property that made the cut was 1 King Place in Meriden. A $2 million gran has been set aside for abatement and demolition of a former hospital on the property.
