Meriden Police Arrest Man On Litany Of Gun, Drug Charges

MERIDEN, CT — Police have arrested a man in an effort to curb gun violence in the city. Angel Cruz was arrested Nov. 6 in New Britain on a litany of firearm and drug charges, as well as risk of injury to a minor and violation of a protective order.

He was held on $500,000 bond.

"The effort exhibited by these Officers has shown their commitment to the safety of our community and the dedication to eliminate gun violence in our City," police said on Facebook.
