Meriden Police Go for Continuing POST Accreditation, Invite Public Comment

The voluntary accreditation process happens every three years.

Meriden Police are inviting the public to comment as the department oes through its Police Officer stands and Training Council accreditation.

The POST team will arrive on MArch 16 to ensure that the department meets the voluntary accreditation requirements, according to police.

The accreditation lasts for three years.A team of law enforcement experts will observe Meriden Police and report back to the accreditation committee, who will then make their recommendation to the POST Council.
