Meriden Police Investigate Threatening Note Found at Maloney High School
The message was found in the boy's gym locker room, according to police.

MERIDEN, CT — A note which threatened that there would be a "school shooting tomorrow" was found in the boy's gym locker room Thursday afternoon at Maloney High School in Meriden, according to police.
"At this time it is unknown just how long this note had been in the locker room; however, the Meriden Police Department will be taking the appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of students and staff during tomorrow’s school day," wrote Sgt. Darrin McKay in a statement.
The note was discovered at about 12:15 p.m., and police said it "is not considered to be credible [threat] at this time."

But the department will be working in partnership with the Meriden Board of Education to ensure the safety of all "and we will have the necessary personnel on scene throughout the school day tomorrow."
