Meriden Police Release Photos Of Assault Suspects' Car

Five men beat a 28-year-old man unconscious, knocking out several of his teeth, in what police called an "unprovoked assault" in Meriden.

MERIDEN, CT — Five suspects in the beating of a 28-year-old man at a Meriden Stop & Shop on Saturday escaped in a white Ford Fusion, according to police who released surveillance photos of the car.

The incident occurred at about 3 p.m. on Broad Street, and the beating was severe enough to render the victim unconscious and bust out several of his teeth.

All five suspects are believed to be in their late teens or 20s. Anyone who may have information on the incident or the identities of the suspects is urged to contact Detective Mike Fonda at 203-630-4178. All calls will be kept confidential.
