MERIDEN, CT — Police are still investigating a Nov. 5 fatal hit-and-run crash at 706 Old Colony Road. The above photo is believed to be the suspect vehicle responsible for the death of Harold Bell.

Police believe the car traveled east on Gypsy Lane at 2:22 p.m. Nov. 5. to the intersection of South Broad Street when it crossed over South Broad Street to the Green Rd/Old Stagecoach/South Curtis Street areas.

The photo was obtained from a camera on Gypsy Lance. The suspect car is believed to be a black, four-door 1995 or 1996 Honda Accord. There appears to be little to no front end or windshield damage visible.

The driver’s side mirror is missing and there appears to be pre-existing damage on the passenger side from the front to the rear.
