Meriden Police: Shooting Suspect 'Armed And Dangerous'
Police are searching for a suspect they say was involved in a near-fatal shooting last month.

MERIDEN, CT - Police have issued a warrant for a suspect they say was involved in an April shooting. Justin Diaz, 29, is considered armed and dangerous.
The charges against Diaz include first-degree assault, carrying a pistol or revolver without a permit, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and criminal use of a firearm.
Diaz is alleged to have been involved in a shooting at South First Street April 19. The incident nearly took the life of another man, police said.

Anyone with information on the case or Diaz's whereabouts should call police at 203-630-6219. Police said not to approach the suspect and maintain a safe distance.
Police have been investigating numerous incidents of gun violence this year, including a January homicide.
