School Closures Shift Calendar
Assistant Superintendent Mike Grove: Connecticut Light and Power estimated at least four schools will be out until Saturday.

Update: 5:04 p.m. Wed.
The 2011-2012 school year is now slated to end on June 20 due to the full week of school that officials have called off because of massive power outages in Meriden following a freak snowstorm. The last day of school was previously slated to be June 14.
Going forward, only one more snow day can be tacked to the end of Meriden's school year. The second snow day will start taking days from April vacation, according to Superintendent Mark Benigni.
