Meriden Public Works Announces Extended Transfer Station Hours

The Department of Public Works is extending the hours of operation of the Transfer Station to assist residents with the disposal of leaves and brush from the October 29 nor’easter. 

The extended hours are Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Saturday, Nov 5 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Additionally the Transfer Station will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM beginning Monday, November 7 through mid December, weather permitting, for the disposal of leaves and brush. The Transfer Station will be open normal hours on Wednesdays during this time.
