The sites will then be developed into apartment buildings, according to a report.

MERIDEN, CT — The city will receive $1.8 million in funding from the state to remediate a property where 92 apartments are being planned, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The money will be used to clean up 14.3 acres at 289 and 290 Pratt St.

Both properties are brownfield sites. A developer plans to build apartments and first-floor commercial space at 289 Pratt St. with additional parking for businesses at 290 Pratt St, The Hartford Business Journal reported.
