Meriden Rehab Center Fined After Resident Cut
The incident happened when the resident was being moved.

A Meriden rehabilitation center was fined more than $1,100 by the state Department of Health after a resident sustained a cut while being transported from a wheelchair to a bed.
The Connecticut Health Investigative Team reports that the Apple Rehab Coccomo was probably cut on a metal latch on the chair. The home has seen been using padded chairs.
