WIHS 104.9 FM Christian Radio recently announced the appointment of Meriden resident Iviana Bynum as Outreach & Event Coordinator. In this role, Bynum will serve as an important link between WIHS and churches, programmers, listeners, donors and other partners.

Bynum was born on Manhattan, New York and served in the children's choir at Times Square Church. Her family then moved to Connecticut, where she graduated from Maloney High School. She holds a Bachelor of Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

She has extensive experience in bi-lingual English and Spanish marketing communications as a photographer, writer, editor, designer, digital content creator, podcast host and producer, public speaker, community coordinator and educator. Bynum worships and serves as Youth Ministry Operations Lead at Grace Fellowship Church in Meriden. Her "Eyes Up" segment is frequently posted on the WIHS Facebook page, and she serves as the host of Ministry Roundtable and Grace for Breakfast.

In making the announcement, WIHS General Manager Matt Harper said, "In recent years, WIHS has significantly expanded its in-person relationship-building across Connecticut. Iviana will greatly augment these efforts. We are thrilled to have her on the WIHS team."
