Meriden Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden resident recently won $10,000 on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $10,000 on a $100,000 CA$HWORD ticket that was sold at City Mart at 572 Washington St. in Middletown, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct. 1, 2025.
