Meriden Robotics Team Raises Money For National Championship
The Boys & Girls Club of Meriden's Robotics team has advanced to the championship and is seeking funds to support their efforts.

MERIDEN, CT —The Boys & Girls Club of Meriden's Robotics Team called The Gigabots have worked hard to advance to the championship in Dallas, and they're hoping the community will support them in raising $5,000, according to a statement from GoFundMe. So far, they've raised over half their goal.

The Boys & Girls Club of Meriden's Robotics Team, the Gigabots, have qualified for the World Championship in Dallas, TX! But need your help to get there. We are raising funds to help pay for the team's entry fees and travel expenses. Below are a few of the areas we would appreciate your assistance with:

Youth Travel Expense: $300
Hotel Expenses: $200
Meal Expenses: $100
Any amount you can contribute to help our team get to Texas would be greatly appreciated. Please help these kids realize their dream of making it to the championships. They've worked hard all year and need your help to make it to cross the finish line!
