Meriden Schools Make Decision On School For Friday

MERIDEN, CT — A powerful and quick moving winter storm dropped between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the area Thursday, which is leading to a second straight day off from school for students.

The City of Meriden posted on Facebook: “Schools in Meriden will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 5th. Please be safe. A parking ban remains in effect for Meriden.”

Enjoy the long weekend and be safe as wind chills will be running as low as 20 below zero on Friday and early Saturday. More snow is possible on Monday.
