Meriden Store Had Liquor License Suspended

A total of 11 establishments had their liquor licenses suspended between November and January by the Connecticut Liquor Control Commission.

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden liquor store was among 11 Connecticut businesses that had their liquor licenses suspended between November 2017 and January 2018, according to public information from the Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

Ye Corner Spirits, located at 273 Main Street, had its license suspended on Jan. 22 and paid a $500 fine. The violation was for sale to a minor.

Suspensions ranging from one to three days and fines between $500 and $1,000 were meted out to the 11 businesses in the state for various offenses, such as selling liquor to minors, consumption on premise, sanitation and failure to hang permits in plain view.
